OUR APPROACH
Strong roots start here.
At Mighty Roots Therapy, we’re here to help your family get to the root of what’s going on.
We don’t just look at symptoms, we take the time to truly understand who your child is. That means a holistic approach that considers physical, sensory, and nervous system factors, while also taking time to understand what your child loves, what matters to them, and how they learn and grow, so we can support real, lasting change.
We know kids aren’t tiny adults, and their care shouldn’t feel that way either. That’s why our clinic is dedicated entirely to pediatric pelvic floor and feeding therapy, it’s all we do. Your child won’t be seeing a provider who mainly works with adults and occasionally treats children.
Instead, they’ll receive one-on-one, play-based care from highly specialized pediatric occupational and physical therapists who truly understand how kids grow, develop, and function in their everyday lives. Our approach is grounded in deep pediatric expertise, from understanding how children’s bodies develop and how the pelvic floor functions, to the role of the sensory and nervous systems in daily life, feeding dynamics, and helping kids build confidence in their bodies. We focus on supporting your child in developing skills that last a lifetime, with, of course, a bit of fun along the way.
Whether your child is navigating constipation, accidents, bedwetting, colic & reflux, potty training struggles, tummy pain, or feeding challenges, we’ll help you understand what’s happening and what to do next.
You don’t have to figure this out on your own, we’re here with you, every step of the way.
The Mighty Roots Difference
100% pediatric focus
Every approach, technique, and session is designed specifically for children’s bodies and developing brains. Every therapist on our team specializes exclusively in pediatric physical and occupational therapy, with advanced training in pediatric pelvic health and feeding. We share a genuine passion for helping children grow, regulate, and thrive.
Whole-child care, rooted in the“why”
We look beyond symptoms, taking a comprehensive approach that considers physical, sensory, nervous system, and developmental factors to create a personalized plan for your child. We also take the time to truly get to know your child, what they love, what motivates them, and what helps them feel comfortable, so we can bring those pieces into each session we share together. We know many parents are told their child will “just grow out of it,” or feel unsure where to turn for support, and you don’t have to navigate that alone. We’re here to listen, look deeper, and help your family move forward with clarity and confidence.
Collaborative Care for Lasting Progress
Every child receives 60-minute, individualized sessions in a private room with the same therapist each time. Our approach is trauma-informed and play-based, with parents as an essential part of the team. We believe lasting change happens through collaboration, consistency, and care that supports your child not just in the clinic, but in everyday life at home and school.
What families are saying…
★★★★★
Annie is so great with my son! She is fun and patient and has given us such great care. He gets so excited when I tell him we’re on our way to play with Annie. We just stopped taking miralax a few weeks ago after him being constipated his whole life. Highly recommend!

Dr Rianna is wonderful. My child was struggling with potty issues and after 8wks of pelvic floor PT, we saw major improvements. Most importantly, Dr Rianna provided a safe, loving and fun environment to work on something rather sensitive for all. My child looked forward to seeing Dr Rianna once a week & completing her homework assignments. Words don’t do justice to how grateful we are to have found Dr Rianna and Mighty Roots. I highly recommend this group.

Our son struggled with bedwetting for years, and we felt like we had tried everything. Mighty Roots Therapy helped us finally understand the root cause instead of just managing the accidents. The approach was thoughtful, supportive, and so kid-centered. We saw real progress, and more importantly, our child felt confident again. We are so grateful for the care and guidance.
